The Beach and Village

The white sandy beach is a short walk on a good path across the field in front of the house. It’s perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. The house Ceol Mara is in the village of Ardminish, with its Post Office and shop (check the opening hours on the door!) and Seafood Nook on certain nights. Five minutes walk down towards the ferry and jetty is the Boathouse Restaurant - book beforehand, it’s Michelin listed for its seafood, but it also does great fish and chips at lunchtime. You can also hire paddleboards, canoes and bikes from the shed on the shore.
